As noted before, I learned about Evergrey
in Baltimore in 1999 when they just blew me away with
their brand of melodic, heavy music. There's no denying
that a big part of their magic is the voice of Tom
Englund. Has been described as dark, passionate, and
soulful.

Now I've watched
my friends in Evergrey go from completely unknown
in the USA, to co-hosting the Headbangers Ball on
MTV and touring the States. I feel like a proud
parent who've watched the child become successful
in the world. They recently released their 5th
album. And I keep a mailing list for them.
